Mom fail this Halloween, I didn’t get our costumes together. The only reason Lulu has her rainbow butterfly costume is thanks to grandma, who was on the ball and brought it with her when they visited a couple weeks ago. Lulu is a rainbow coloured butterfly. Booboo was a unicorn for about five minutes on Friday at a Halloween event, until she somehow managed to lose the headband. So now I was out of ideas and 2 days away from Halloween. At least I got a photo of it!
Luckily I remembered we have this sweater for her and threw this DIY baby jailbird costume together last minute. Lulu even helped colour in the stripes on the hat. Check out this adorable prisoner!

This sounds exactly how our Halloween went! My daughter thankfully had a costume because Grandma had bought her this super cute fairy princess outfit earlier in the year. I didn’t even think about my son’s costume until the day before, at which time I found a hoody of his that had a dinosaur face on the hood. I get some credit for cutting out a green tail from some cardstock to tape to the hoody!
